A nice helper for Windows shit

One of the nastiest obstructions introduced by Microsoft in recent years is the totally individualized file menu. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING FOLDER gets its own style of viewing. You have to stop and alter EVERY SINGLE FUCKING FOLDER to make it readable.

There is a hugely difficult and tricky way to make SOME of them usable. There is no way to make ALL folders usable. Even worse, after you think you’ve made all Text folders usable, Microsoft decides on its own that THIS text folder is really Text Containing A Three-Syllable Word or some such shit, which has its own special private way of displaying.

WinSetView is a perfect and easy solution. It has a well-designed menu to specify the way you want ALL folders. When you hit Go, it alters the registry settings to insure that ALL folders are usable.

It also gets rid of the idiotic Home and Gallery thingamajigs, which always display first on every file open. Home and Gallery do not exist. They are not on the disk, and they have no function except to obstruct your work.

As far as I can tell WinSetView is absolutely free. I looked through the pages but couldn’t find a way to donate. I enjoy paying for things that really work. WinSetView really works and really helps!
