Maybe ordinary customers might appreciate AI if it EVER worked to make things easier for us. All the major platforms are using it now, and they NEVER use big data to screen out crap or streamline our computer use. Every single use of AI adds MORE crap that we have to filter out on our own.

The vast majority of filtering and adaptation wouldn’t require huge LLMs anyway.

When there are 10 available choices, and you use choice #7 all the time, a simple program can move #7 into an easy-access position. Instead, Microsoft keeps adding new NEVER-USED shit to the list, shoving USEFUL features into increasingly difficult multi-step processes, and putting everything behind increasingly tangled fake “cybersecurity” precautions.

“Cybersecurity” is not meant to stop hackers. “Cybersecurity” is like the old 1950s loyalty oaths. Real spies and hackers don’t mind swearing fake oaths and climbing over hurdles to get what they want. Fakery is their PAID JOB AND MISSION. Normal people hate a system that treats us like spies while welcoming real spies.
