Yet another grandma was right

Every fucking thing we learned in school was criminally false and wrong.

Our “science” books mercilessly mocked Schiaparelli’s canals, Lysenko’s acquired characteristics, the old wives tales about stress influencing genes, and phrenology.

Now, unsurprisingly, we have proof that the phrenologists were right. The shape of a face and skull does tell you a lot about the behavior and characteristics of a person.  (“Science” textbooks emphasized the skull bumps for maximum silliness, but phrenologists were mainly analyzing faces.)

A new study used pairs of accidental look-alikes that were gathered by photographer Francois Brunelle. They took gene samples and gut biome samples, and interviewed the people.

Conclusion: If two look alike enough to be twins, they ARE twins for all practical purposes. Their genes are nearly identical, and their behavior is nearly identical. Epigenetic variables and gut biome are different, resulting from different environments and diets.

This study is an iconic example of GOOD science. Examine reality in a new way. Discard preconceptions and theories.

LOOK ABOUT YOU.
TAKE HOLD OF THE THINGS THAT ARE HERE.
TALK TO THEM.
LET THEM TALK TO YOU.
