After writing previous item looking back at 2008, it was time to cook and eat, so I clicked on one of Shkreli’s podcasts about Sammy and jail. Shkreli isn’t always right or honest**, but he speaks from real experience and knows how to entertain.
While eating I allowed Youtube to autoplay for background noise. As usual, Youtube knew what I had written, and attempted to CORRECT my errors. It fed me three pieces in a row defending TARP and ZIRP, including one lecture by Shotgun Paulson himself. Two of the pieces were saying that the government’s mistake was failing to reward ALL the criminals. The only problem was that the government allowed Lehman to collapse.
Nice to know that Big Sibling is always listening, always ready to RECTIFY your MISINFORMATION.

** In one of those old radio dramas about rackets and scams, the cops are interviewing a tough lady who knows the suspect. After listening for a while, the cop says “I take it you didn’t like him much.” “No, I was quite fond of him. He’s great company after you realize he doesn’t have an honest bone in his body.” Good description of the Shkreli and McAfee type.
