Trying again

Trying to talk myself down from Muzzle PTSD yet again.

Even the fucking NY Times now acknowledges that self-muzzlers are weird and crazy. The mood of the elites has unquestionably shifted. They’re done. When the NY Times is done, the whole monstrosity is done.

The agencies will keep pushing, but so far their pushes are just “recommendations”, even in NYC. Nothing is actually happening here, and no signs of “recommendations”, let alone mandates, are appearing in the media or stores.

I noticed that the Supremes allowed TSA to continue its mandate back in October, but TSA didn’t reimpose then, and still doesn’t seem inclined to reimpose. TSA didn’t cancel the mandate because of the “court” decision anyway. They cancelled because the airlines threatened to stop funding if they continued the mandate.

Status is everything. Money isn’t quite everything, but money certainly matters. “Laws” are nothing.

Big point: I should practice what I preach. I should IGNORE the media on both “sides”. Both “sides” are alarmist, stirring up fear and anger by overstating the situation.
