Batya has blown her overall credibility by bowing down to Fauci, but this time she performed the proper function of a remote sensor as I was discussing in previous item.

Both “sides” had been treating the Congress speaker crap as just the usual internal squabble, with precisely zero meaning. I tried to read both “sides” and didn’t hear anything remotely useful or meaningful.

Batya paid closer attention and caught two meaningful and UNPREDICTABLE items in the list of promises made by McCarthy.

1. He will work to end all the “virus” mandates. This would be merely symbolic, since bureaucrats don’t use or read “laws”, but it would be an important symbol.

2. He promises to shape the legislative process toward more SINGLE-PURPOSE LAWS and less of the all-in-one Omnibus bills. This would be a serious reform. Over the last 40 years Congress has shoveled EVERYTHING into one big “law” for each entire session, which means that all the negotiation is pure blackmail and extortion. There’s no chance of REPEALING the whole year of shit, and presidents have no chance of vetoing it. This is NOT how the legislative process was meant to work.

Every engineer and programmer understands modularity. Machines and code are understandable and MODIFIABLE when divided up into functions of the right size.
