Great example of the more or less positive side of AI. One Redditor asked ChatGPT to write a poem about bitcoin. The result is excellent poetry. Full of meaning, solid rhyme and rhythm, reaching a persuasive climax. Reminds me of Longfellow.
Humans abandoned poetry 100 years ago. Absolutely nobody is writing poetry now, so the field is wide open for machines to take over. The sucked-in source material is entirely from long-dead poets of the past, so nobody is losing jobs or creative product.
Later: Reddit deleted the poem. I guess it was too persuasive. Reddit runs its own bitcoin scam, selling NFT thingamajigs “representing” your avatar. Competition not wanted. Thanks for verifying my suspicion, Reddit!
