Old rules for old rich

An influencer is teaching the rules followed by the Old Rich. The rules are apparently ShockingShocking, or at least DailyMail wants us to think so.

The rules are thoroughly familiar and unchanged. I remember reading about them in the ’50s. Later I knew several old rich types in Ohio, who fit the mold precisely.

Status is innate and permanent. When you’ve got it, you don’t need status prostheses like big cars and flashy houses and branded clothes. When you ain’t got it, the prostheses don’t help.
