When you start with Machiavelli and Parkinson, you’re rarely** shocked by government and corporate actions.
The real question is: What do you do INSTEAD of shocked outrage and offense?

I started with the assumption that “free speech” is a trick and Elon is Deepstate. I’m not shocked by any of his actions. The alleged “independent” journalists like Taibbi appear to be genuinely shocked, because they started with bizarre meaningless delusions like “constitutions” and “rights”.
Elon is having fun.
He owns the place, so he can put his doggy icon on the masthead. He owns the place, so he can choose funny or suggestive dates for actions. Those unpaid bluechecks need to clear out by 4/20. Get it? Yuk yuk.
Aside from humor, why should anyone be shocked or offended by PAYING TO ADVERTISE? Bluechecks are INFLUENCERS who are using Twitter to SELL their own products or services. They should be paying a lot more than $7 a month.

** In fairness I was totally and permanently shocked by 2020. I already knew “medicine” is a racket, and I already knew that “rights” and “laws” are mythical. I never trusted “doctors”. But I was putting too much faith in Parkinson and not enough in Mach. I delusionally believed that bureaucrats would create inertia by defending their turf. They didn’t. All of their inertia had been carefully and thoroughly inverted by the Bush demons before the NAZI TORTURE was scheduled to start. All vectors pointed to Satan.
