This sort of shit is not my department, but it’s just too weird to leave alone.

Apparently the last straw for CNN bosses was Don Lemon’s interview with Vivek, who is allegedly running for president. Both of these dudes are observing reality through slogan lenses.

Lemon has proved his disconnect many times, especially “women are in their prime around 25”. Nobody thinks that. It’s not simply impolite, not just the sort of thing you shouldn’t say if you want respect from women. It’s fucking WEIRD.

In the interview with Vivek, Lemon kept tapelooping a pointless irrelevant question about JANUARY_6_VIOLENT_INSURRECTION, which is the only thing a CNN creature knows how to say. Vivek kept tapelooping a sane answer, that the topic has absolutely nothing to do with running a country or solving problems. Good.

But then Vivek got WEIRD, claiming that Lincoln’s War was all about failing to apply the 2nd amendment to blacks? Or maybe he was running the old tired NRA argument that armed people prevent tyranny? In either case it’s hopelessly stupid and flatout wrong. Most “dictators” rule well-armed populations. Most of the rulers we call “dictators” are actually sane and decent rulers who treat their people well enough by their own standards. We don’t appreciate their standards because we’re batshit crazy.

So these two idiots are equally disconnected from reality, both repeating phrases that they think they’re supposed to say, without understanding the words.
