Taibbi is ignorant, or more likely memoryholish, about the real history of Deepstate and censorship.

Taibbi’s acolytes carry on the same fine tradition. A ‘guest article’ by Andrew Lowenthal complains about the modern “unprecedented” mixing of Deepstate and progressives:

Twitter emails show consistent collaboration between military and intelligence officials and elite “progressives” from NGOs and academia. “They/them” signatures mingle with .mil, @westpoint, @fbi and others. How did the FBI and the Pentagon, once the avowed enemies of progressives for their attacks on the Black Panthers and the peace movement, their war-mongering and gross over-funding, begin to fuse and collude? They join together in election tabletop exercises and share hors d’oeuvres at conferences put on by oligarch philanthropists. That cultural and political shift was once a heavy lift, but now it is as simple as cc’ing each other.

Ever hear of Machiavelli? Ever hear of Lady Edgar? This routine is 500 years old, and FBI has refined it to perfection. The peace movement and the Black Panthers were BOTH infiltrated and controlled by FBI. This is perfectly well-known. All major and famous “opposition” is a puppet controlled by Deepstate.

No shift at all.

Military control? THE ENTIRE FUCKING WEB was invented and controlled by the military and NSA, exclusively for NSA’s purposes.

Fake surprise is always a weapon. Deleting the history of Deepstate control is a vital part of Deepstate control.

This fake surprise is identical to Bitcoin’s fake “decentralization”. When people think the web is naturally free and open, they will follow your orders to help “maintain” the “freedom” and “defend” against “new outrageous unnatural interference” by the web’s permanent owners.

Old Soviet joke:
