Dog logic: I bark at the stranger walking by, and he stops being a threat. Therefore my barking drove him away.

Human logic: I boycott the woke corporation and it stops being woke. Therefore my boycott drove the woke away.

In fact the walker was going to continue walking past the property, and the woker was already losing its desire to woke.

The real cause of the woke-fade is the end of ZIRP and QE, and the resumption of real business and real economy. I suspect some of the boycott leaders know what they’re doing. Most are probably using doggy logic.

Doggy logic is helpful in this situation because it helps to teach the idiot corporation a necessary lesson. It’s not helpful in other kinds of protests, where the protesters are unwittingly playing the role Deepstate assigned them, thus doing real damage to their intended cause.

A boycott is Desistance. Protests are Resistance. Removing your money and talents from an evil agency is always productive. Making noise in the public square is always counterproductive.
