Ford is nature

Assembly-line work is supposedly an unnatural invention. In fact it’s far more natural than artisanal craftsmanship.

Every cell includes dozens of factories, each turning out repetitive proteins and neurotransmitters.

Our cerebellum is a library of repetitive routines.

When deprived of daily assembly-line work, humans still need to run an assembly line. We see the result in some types of Tourettes and autism, and more commonly in meth and fentanyl addicts, the perfect victims of a purposeless finance economy. They spend their day repeating operations that resemble folding laundry or sweeping floors or turning a bolt over and over. They’re exhibiting an autoimmune hyper-response, just like the microbial immune system’s hyper-response when deprived of microbes by sterile environments and muzzles.

Speech is an assembly-line process. The meaning processor issues a job ticket for a sentence to serve a specific purpose. The syntax processor then runs through the stages of the meaning ticket, pulling words and morphemes out of cerebellar bins, inserting each into the sentence, and then spot-welding the components together with coarticulation. Each inserted part runs its sequence with appropriate colors and options as per the job ticket, resulting in a complete sentence at the factory gate aka lips.

Meanwhile, QC is monitoring the product through bone conduction, and orders a repeat with altered parts if it detects a product that’s not fit for semantic purpose.

LIFE IS PURPOSE.
