Just after writing previous item, checked DailyMail for the latest SHOCKING news. This one is GENUINELY shocking, and reveals that the Inquisitors are no longer in absolute control. Truth about gender is returning to speakableness.

Melanie Nipper, a 28-year-old gender studies professor at the University of Cincinnati, has been reprimanded for rebuking a student for using the term ‘biological woman’ in her essay on trans sport. She has been ordered to complete training, and submit her syllabi for the coming school year to her department head.

The university document states: ‘Please note that this is to be considered a formal reprimand for your actions. A copy of this letter will be placed in your permanent records. It is also understood that any other violations of UC policy may be subject to further disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

The letter also demanded that ‘you must complete training on the requirements of the Campus Free Speech Policy’ and that she submit all syllabi for review and approval at least two weeks prior to the beginning of classes.

A prof rebuked a student for telling the truth. Before today, the STUDENT would have been expelled and turned into a national HORRIBLE EXAMPLE OF RACISM NAZISM HOMOPHOBIA TRANSPHOBIA. The student’s life would be over.

Now the TEACHER is punished and ordered to allow the truth.

Meta: After 30 years of escalating evil, and 2 years of LITERAL PRECISE NAZI TORTURE, it’s still hard to accept positive news. For many years every fake positive hint was only a harbinger of the immediately following STOMP.

I’m naturally pessimistic and suspicious, so this change of landscape is naturally hard. I can’t change my innate tendencies, but I’m trying to be more receptive to good news. Positive indications aren’t always fake now, and don’t necessarily presage the next sucker punch.
