Another small but significant sign of turnaround. The port of Naples has banned demon ships.
Corriere della Sera reported that the media tycoon Barry Diller was also forced to renounce Naples after the Mergellina harbourmaster banned yachts of more than 75 metres in length for security reasons.
Business and civic interests are protesting, since they gain glamor by hosting demon ships. But the port is holding firm.
This may be related to a larger recent development in Europe, with many countries moving toward a more calm and practical populism, firmly departing from Gaia and wokedom.
I closed down my inputs during the NAZI TORTURE CAMP, so I wasn’t observing this change. All the previous ‘populist’ leaders had converged to Deepstate beforehand, or enthusiastically joined the ballgag brigade. Now those fakers and convergers are being replaced by leaders who quietly change things instead of talking and betraying. It resembles the shift from betrayer Jennings Bryan to quiet servant Harding 100 years ago.
Most Euro countries have a semi-functional parliamentary system that sometimes responds to the need for change. The US system is no longer capable of feedback and adaptation. There’s no way to remove a bad leader, and no parties to cultivate effective governing alternatives.
