Until today the DeSantis campaign hadn’t even bothered to send anything. All the other candidates in both parties have been flooding my inbox for three months. Today for the first time the DeSantis campaign sent an email. It starts:
Hi. I’m Ron DeSantis. This is who I am.
He runs through his biography and his record as governor, and DOESN’T ONCE MENTION THE ONLY FUCKING THING THAT MATTERS.
Still a nonbark. I don’t know why he’s ruining his own attempt, but at this point I no longer care.
Using my standard business analogy:
Hi. We’re Campbells Soup. You’ve probably never heard of us. We sell cylindrical containers that have lids and labels. The containers contain stuff.
