Trump has achieved a new unbreakable record in Cognitive Dissonance and absolute lunacy.

Trump is THE tyrant. He created the lockdowns and muzzles and needles and torture and destruction of small business and murder of the elderly and infinite enrichment of the rich. Now he’s….. What? Arguing with an alternate-universe Trump?

If he said something like “I started this shit and now I hate it. I won’t do it again”, he’d be totally unbelievable but at least he wouldn’t be indescribably bonkers.

Later: I think I’ve got it now. Trump is doing what he always does, handing ammunition to the enemy. If he opposes the mandates loudly enough, the enemy will reimpose them to spite the “conservatives”. This is the Agent Provocateur’s job.
