Trump lied about abortion, lied about “woke” stuff, and thinks people who live for any purpose except glorifying Trump are suckers and losers. Supposedly this is “astonishing”.
No need for secret revelations. All of this was perfectly obvious during the 2016 scampaign. Most of it was obvious from Trump’s life history. He was always a gangster, learning the trade from Roy Cohn. He spent his entire life in NYC and Hollywood.
More broadly it’s unsurprising for ALL Repooflican politicians. Reagan and the Bushes and Fox News played the same game in public, while agreeing with every “progressive” value in private. Their public fakery was more convincing than Trump’s, perhaps because they had somewhat more experience with non-NYC humans.
Trump literally HAS NO IDEA how humans think. He’s an alien.
Meanwhile, the Trump cultists know what it takes to stay in the Lord And Master’s good graces. There’s absolutely no excuse for ignorance at this late date.
