Mattingly discusses the “supply chain” problem in many modern churches…

Long ago, the Rt. Rev. C. FitzSimons Allison was a bishop in good standing in the Episcopal Church. A year ago, however, he resigned — at the age of 95 — to serve in the Anglican Church in North America, which is an ecclesiastical body that is recognized as valid by many Anglican bishops in Africa, Asia and the Global South, but not by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
During one global meeting, Allison watched a symbolic collision between these two worlds. Bishops from North America and their allies were talking about moving forward, making doctrinal changes in order to embrace the cultural revolutions in their lands. They were sure that Anglicans needed to evolve or die.
Finally, a frustrated African bishop asked three questions: “Where are your children? Where are your converts? Where are your priests?” These questions are highly relevant, amid stark demographic changes in First World churches.

The African bishop was asking REAL Darwinian questions to the FAKE Darwinian progressive.
When the progressives say Evolve they mean the opposite.
Survival of the fittest is about POPULATIONS, not Ubermenschen. In raw genetic terms, survival of the fittest means having more offspring who are adapted to live long lives. In cultural terms it means maintaining a solid moral code and a functioning economy so that people will WANT TO HAVE MORE KIDS and WANT TO LIVE LONG LIVES. In skills and work it means GUILDS to preserve skills and train new workers. (EG seminaries preserving theology and training priests.)
The progressive form of “evolution” is simply death. Everything they want is contrary to the requirements of actual fitness. They want to enrich and empower the richest, and abort or strangle or suicide everyone else. They eliminate negative feedback (stability) and enforce positive feedback (exponential rises and explosions.) They force constant Innovative Disruption in every area of life so ordinary people never get a chance to figure out what the fuck is happening.

Later thought: This is a rare instance when offshoring is better than onshoring! But it’s not really an exception. In survivable economics, only raw materials that CAN’T BE MINED OR GROWN HERE should be imported. Everything else should be domestic. We no longer mine or grow sane culture or sane religion, so we need to import it from the South where it flourishes.
