Friend spam

All spam messages are now addressed to Friend. Even the supposedly high-dollar politicians start every message with Friend.

I’m getting peculiar repeated messages asking me to “endorse” Jim Jordan for some meaningless office in meaningless Congress. Jordan was already rejected three times for the meaningless office, but Friend is still supposed to “endorse” him.

Friend, There’s one thing I know above all: The Swamp fears Jim Jordan.

DeSantis spam starts the same way, and also sounds like non-native English with misplaced verbs. Makes me think they’re all produced by the same factory, which is probably in India.
