One of the more ordinary comments said that we’re still stuck with DST after voting to end it. I halfway remembered the referendum but I don’t believe in the myth of “elections”, so I never expected anything to change. Looking it up, about 1/3 of all states have enacted laws to cancel the DST idiocy as soon as the Feds allow it. Wash is one of those states. The federal allowance is the catch. Congress is completely utterly conclusively perpetually nonfunctional. Every year Congress pretends to “consider” and “debate” a “bill” which would allow states to end DST, and every year Congress does absolutely nothing.
