At various times I’ve stupidly donated to both D and R candidates. I think the most recent D was Tulsi when she was a fake D.
Being on the email list of both teams provides a simulation of the Fairness Doctrine, with equal time for both campaigns.
I get the same emails from random candidates in California or New York, who can’t possibly affect my interests even if they accomplished anything, which they won’t. The emails follow the same script:
Help, Friend! [Other Party] is attacking me! [Other Party] is irresponsible! I’m attempting to fight [Other Party’s] failed agenda and risky schemes! Donate to my campaign, Friend, so [Our Party] can stomp out [Other Party] and prevent [Other Party] from destroying our [Republic / Democracy]!!!!!
This doesn’t even need AI. It’s just replaceable string variables, which can be rigged easily in JavaScript.
= = = = =
Just for fun, here’s a Python that will do the job.
Choice = 1 # 1 for R candidate, 0 for D candidate. Pair1= ['The Republican party','The Democratic party'] Pair2= ['Republican','Democrat'] Pair3= ['The Democratic party','The Republican party'] Pair4= ['Democracy','Republic'] print "Help, Friend! %s is attacking me! %s is irresponsible!\n" % (Pair1[Choice],Pair1[Choice]) print "I'm attempting to fight the %s failed agenda and risky schemes!\n" % Pair2[Choice] print "Donate to my campaign, Friend, so %s can stomp out %s and prevent %s from destroying our %s!!!!!\n" % (Pair3[Choice],Pair1[Choice],Pair1[Choice],Pair4[Choice])
