TVA, part 4 of 4

The book on TVA architecture featured a picture and plan of a model gas station. The building itself was photographed but I think the rest of the plan was skipped. I went ahead and tributed the whole thing.

The station was in the median of a boulevard, with entrances from both lanes.

Floor plan of the building. Public side, private office, two restrooms.

The pumps were on a barbell-shaped island that extended from the building to a grease rack at the far end.

The original picture showed an Air Station on the pillar, and I’ve always wanted to model one of these. It was an air-powered analog computer that pumped up the tire until it sensed the pressure you set on the dials.
