Not a paradox

Seen on Twitter:

Why are Canadian public health officials are so preoccupied with “destigmatizing” hard drugs when one of the greatest public health victories of our generation was the collapse of tobacco smoking – a change that was brought about by stigmatizing the practice.

No contradiction, no paradox. Deepstate destigmatizes the harder drugs and stigmatizes tobacco for EXACTLY THE SAME REASON.

Hard drugs make you stupid and crazy and violent. Tobacco makes you smart and sane and calm.

Deepstate wants stupid and crazy and violent peasants.

Alcohol also fits into the stupid and crazy and violent category. For many decades public “health” was cautiously encouraging alcohol (one drink a day is better than no drinks) while totally banning tobacco.

The preference for alcohol is complex, partly the normal commercial and cultural factors. Distilleries tend to be owned by NYC families while tobacco is a Dixie business. DC always enriches NYC and destroys Dixie.

The preference for hard drugs is pure evil Deepstate. CIA has been selling heroin and pushing LSD since the zombie rebirth of Deepstate in 1946.

On the good side, nicotine seems to be ever so slowly ‘reshoring’, especially as vapes. Fashionable influencers are starting to vape on camera.
