Wrong variable

Still in pointless rant mode.

Tired of fake outrage and fake surprise over government spying on its citizens, and “warrantless” wiretaps.

First: All governments spy on their citizens. Knowing what the people are doing and thinking is a necessary INPUT to government. Feedback loops are necessary for any functional machine. This input used to be called “representation” or “voting”. Now the old sensory mechanisms (legislatures and elections) have been totally disconnected for many years, and the government uses the web for its INPUT.

Second: Law enforcement has never been limited by warrants. Police and FBI gather evidence all the time, sometimes by breaking and entering into houses, now by breaking and entering into fake “private” communications systems. The warrant has always been a symbolic gesture like a notary seal on an official document. Evidence can’t be used in court without the rubber stamp. Warrants are automatic like notary seals.

Third: The important variable is OUTPUT, not INPUT. How does government use the information it gets from “legislators” or from NSA?

Decent governments and devil governments have opposite goals.

Decent governments use the input to measure progress toward improved lives for their citizens. How well are we performing our basic duties of protecting people from invasion, immigration, and crime? If we see too much trouble in one area, we need to clamp down on offshoring or immigrants or criminals.

Devil governments use the input to measure progress toward misery and death. When we see too many people being happy and healthy and useful, we need to INCREASE the offshoring and corporate crime and gang crime.
