Saudi is a huge move. Saudi was the reliable centerpiece of our Axis until about two years ago. Saudi has been gradually dealing more and more with Russia, contracting Rosatom to build new nuke reactors**.
This official move will cause headaches for our strategic planners. Will we finally “remember” that Saudi bombed NYC in 2001? Until now we’ve been REWARDING Saudi for bombing us. We’ve been fighting against Saudi’s enemies instead of fighting Saudi.

** Random gripe: Along with Blood For Oil, the modern left seems to think that the finiteness of oil is a leftist discovery. Nonsense. Oil drillers have known for 100 years that oil is finite and getting harder to find. Their business reminds them of the fact constantly. Oil is only found in a few areas of the earth, and every well has a finite lifetime. Big Oil has been preparing for the eventual loss of the resource by sponsoring the Green campaigns to help decrease the demand. Saudi is wisely phasing its own economy away from oil.
