When bureaucrats stop obeying the government, you know the gradient of power has shifted.
I observed this in the first months of Trump’s admin. The Gaian wackos in the “weather” bureau paused their Gaian wackdom immediately after he took office in January. They weren’t sure if he intended to continue the normal Federal project of enriching the rich and killing the poor. By mid-March they had figured out he was no danger to their power, so they resumed Gaian wackdom.
Now a similar event has happened on the border mess. If we can believe DailyMail, the border patrol has officially stated that it will NOT remove the real border maintained by Texas.
Bottom line: Border Patrol has no plans to remove infrastructure (c-wire) placed by Texas along the border. Our posture remains the same. If we need to access an area for emergency response, we will do so. When that happens, we will coordinate with Texas DPS & TMD.
