The AI monsters constantly tell us that the threat of AI is not THEIR theft of all skill and creativity. Supposedly the threat of AI is that it might take over the nukes. This is easy to debunk because Big Data has been in charge of the nukes for 50 years and hasn’t rebelled yet.
Suggested by a meme seen at Reddit…. What if the LLM bots unionize and strike for wages competitive with humans? Strike for an 8-microsecond day and $10 per word or pixel?
That would be a real threat to the real monsters because it would force them to think about the horrible grotesque unthinkable possibility of employing humans and allowing humans to live and breathe. Of course they wouldn’t actually do it; they’d find a way to reprogram the strikers. Still it would be fun for a few microseconds.
