More redundant evidence that bitcoiners are the supreme suckers. The Energy Information Agency is asking bitcoin miners to report their energy usage. The miners are getting all IndividualSovereign and threatening to sue.
Don’t they realize that they are BUYING ELECTRICITY FROM THE POWER COMPANY? Don’t they realize that the power company has a METER at the drop entrance to their buildings, and the power company READS THE METER? This has been going on for 100 years, not a brand-new spy tactic, and it’s a lot easier now with wifi meters. When you PAY for a product, the seller has to know HOW MUCH you’re using.
There’s no way to lie about your usage, and it’s futile to lie about your usage. You are a MASSIVE customer of the power company, and you DEPEND on the power company. You should be grateful that they continue to serve your idiotic pointless activity, which WASTES POWER THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED BY HUMANS.
This parallels the larger idiocy of the entire blockchain enterprise. Blockchain runs on the web, which is wholly owned by NSA. If you don’t understand that the web was built by NSA for NSA’s own purposes, you’re hopelessly naive. You can’t be decentralized when your enterprise depends on the NSA’s supreme centralizer.
Sidenote: The stock criminals who are trying out shortwave are NOT naive. They understand how centrality works. It’s unfortunate that the idealistic bitcoin suckers don’t understand this difference. They could turn their idealism into a more practical project if they understood.
