Still grouching about spam. Recent spam from the Trump campaign has been disgusting in a specifically Christian way.

An earlier email asked me if I preferred to get a handshake or a HUG from Our Lord Trump. ARRRGH!

This is precisely identical to the Christian sexual attachment to Jesus. Catholic churches always have a pornographic statue of Jesus at the front, and Protestant songs ask Jesus to “touch me” or “embrace me”. Trump is explicitly portraying himself as the returned Messiah, with all the requisite appurtenances.

I had more than enough of this lifestyle in prison. Don’t remind me.
