Several articles this week are focusing on the fentanyl problem in Portland, blaming it on Oregon’s legalizing of all drugs. Decriminalizing might be part of the problem, but the same problem is equally bad or worse in states that haven’t decriminalized. I suppose the law change makes it a bit harder to jail the dealers and block the foreign sources, but nobody is jailing the dealers anywhere and the Feds are continuing to invite and aid the foreign enemy, so this law is a technicality.
Blaming the change in law is an intentional distraction from the broad problem of NO JOBS FOR MEN.
MEN NEED TO MAKE THINGS. WHEN MEN CAN’T MAKE THINGS THEY WILL BREAK THINGS.
