Greenwald discusses some fool who made the mistake of working for Trump for a few days. Now the fool is in jail, and Greenwald calls it unjust and unprecedented. Of course it’s unjust. Everything in politics is WAY beyond unjust. Words like justice shouldn’t be ruined and blasphemed by applying them to politics.
But it’s emphatically not unprecedented. This is how gangsters work. Gangsters hire accomplices then get rid of the accomplices when they no longer maximize the gangster’s power. Imprisoning the discarded Kleenex serves two purposes at once: (1) It removes the Kleenex from open life where he might be able to compete with the gangster, and (2) it leaves the evidence of the crime on the Kleenex. Framing and blaming is a daily practice for psychopaths. Criminal hygiene, especially appropriate for OCD Trump.
Trump’s gangster habits were extremely well-known in NYC before 2016, and now his methods are known worldwide. Any fool who links up with an archcriminal like Trump deserves to suffer the fate of fools.
