Latest idiocy from the beautifully collapsing “journalism” industry is the strange hiring and firing of Ronna McDaniel, former head of the Repooflican party. NBC hired her and then immediately fired her when their own employees refused to work with her. That’s a good reason to fire someone, but why didn’t the execs check with their current employees before hiring her?
The answer to all of these questions is LBO. Most of the major media are now owned by Tech Tyrants who don’t want the media to exist. NBC is a tiny part of Comcast’s empire. Most of their business depends on Youtube and Tiktok. They have no interest in pleasing an audience of a million elderly “females” with bowl haircuts. When you see a pattern like this, you can be sure NBC is simply a tax dodge, bought to run it into the ground and grab its assets.
On the other end of McDaniel we see another LBO. She was kicked out of RNC by Trump, who wanted to implant his own mistress as head of RNC. Trump is an LBO artist from the start, or in other words a gangster. He takes over businesses for the sole purpose of destroying them and eliminating competition to his own Organization. He doesn’t want any independent entities anywhere in his orbit.
The only REAL question is why a previously functional business would allow itself to be taken over by an obvious destroyer. Each raider is well-known. There aren’t any secret raiders. Their MO was established 150 years ago. Gradually erode support, make loans and deals, push the target into a position where it can’t afford to continue without a buyout. Buy it with debt in the name of the business, kill it, let the bankruptcy write off the debt, steal the assets without paying anything.

Later thought…. The federal dysgovernment is also acting like an LBO victim. Constant internal battles, accomplishing nothing except incurring more debt. Spending infinite amounts of money, most of which ends up in the pockets of the very same Tech Tyrants plus a few similar robber barons in the older military contractors like Boeing. The Tech Tyrants, through their Libertarian and Bitcoin and Talk Radio evangelists, have been convincing suckers that the government needs to stop all taxes, which is another name for bankruptcy.
The asset-stealing part is blatantly obvious. Gates and Fink are literally (and littorally) buying up all the choice property in the country, farms and commercial buildings and choice beachfronts, after the dysgovernment has destroyed the value through EPA regulations and ZIRP and riots and “pandemics”.
Oops, I’ve already said the governmental part a year ago, with the same title. I haven’t said the Trump/RNC part before.
