No longer true. Politics IS beanbag, or hacky-sack in modern terms.

Voteball pays TV for coverage just like pro sports. Voteball has season ticket holders, who are called “donors”, and luxury box owners called “big donors”. The voteball players give most of their attention to the luxury boxes, with special “dinners” and “speeches” for a million dollars a ticket.

The main beneficiary of voteball is TV. The big donors get what they want out of “government”, and they may believe their tickets are paying for the service, but in fact the luxury boxes get what they want WITHOUT buying tickets. “Government” knows who’s in charge. Bezos and Fink get what they want whether they buy voteball tickets or not. The tickets only give an impression of payment for service, which is fake like the rest of this monstrosity.
