In the ’60s colleges expelled and arrested “leftist” protesters. Since then, colleges have been expelling and arresting “right-wing” protesters while supinely obeying “leftist” protesters.
Now they’re arresting leftist protesters again, and nobody seems to notice the reversal. Pro-Palestine has been a leftist issue for 60 years. I tried to join the SDS in ’68 but gave up because their meetings were dominated by Maoists who insisted on discussing Palestine instead of socialism and Vietnam.
Colleges are now rejecting every student who deviates in EITHER DIRECTION from the orthodoxy required by the Big Donors.
Dividing works to some extent if you want intense ‘engagement’ by a few customers. Punching half of your customers is satisfying for the unpunched team.
When you punch ALL of your customers you’re guaranteeing fast collapse.
Fast collapse of these monstrous failed institutions is good for the country and good for civilization.
