A new survey by Pew checks feelings about the Tech Tyrants. Not much difference between R and D on this question.
= = = = = START PEW:
Republicans and lean-Republicans (84%) are more likely than Democrats and lean-Democrats (74%) to think these companies have too much political power. And while Republicans’ opinions have changed little since 2020, this view has grown more common among Democrats over the past four years: 74% of Democrats believe social media companies have too much power and influence in politics, up from 63% in 2020.
= = = = = END PEW.
A similar pattern believes the Tech Tyrants censor heretical views. 93% of R, 74% of D. Strong majorities in both groups.
Views of mainstream media (TV and papers) are more divergent, with D still appreciating the bias in those areas.
I suspect Elon’s fake “rightward turn” accounts for the increase in D dislike.
