Last night around 9:30 I had doors and windows open as usual to bring in the nice cool air. Heard some sirens. The sirens stopped close by, and then I heard:
SUSPECT, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST! NEIGHBORS, STAY INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!
Decided it was a good idea to close windows and doors.
SpokaneNews Facebook came through with instant coverage as always. The police had tried to arrest the guy several blocks north of here. He ran through this block where the cops tried again to pin him down. He continued running, and they finally caught him several blocks west of here.
This is why people get local news from Facebook.
The alleged “local” “newspaper” and TV websites never tell you what’s happening here and now. They only tell you what some asshole in DC is saying about some other asshole in DC.
