Colleges were DESIGNED to be a community for aristocrats. In the 60s the frat rats and sor whores had wonderful communities. The less privileged people were lonely and depressed.
College was invented as an enforcer of status and orthodoxy, ahd has never deviated from its main mission.
The problem isn’t what college does, the problem is the PROPAGANDA spewed by schools and media since 1946, leading peasants to mistakenly believe that college is “training” or “free debate” or “advancing knowledge” or a dozen other bizarre myths.
The latest generation has broken out of the propaganda and realized the proper function of college. They’re not happy, but they are DOING THE RIGHT THING with their ADVANCING KNOWLEDGE. They’re taking their talents and minds and money away from the misadvertised Nobility Certifier. GOOD FOR THEM.
