Missing the syllogism

A Redditor asks if bitcoin can ever be widely adopted.

The comments and countercomments miss the point. Bitcoin has ALREADY been widely adopted, but NOT as a store of value or a currency. Blackrock has started using Bitcoin as a gambling chip (aka ETF). Bitcoin is ideal for gambling since it has no real-world connection at all. The house can decide to change its number arbitrarily and freely without any real-world repercussions, unlike older gambling chips such as oil futures or currency swaps or rental houses or nations or planets or (especially) black holes.

Syllogism:

Larry Fink has adopted Bitcoin.

Larry Fink is the world.

Therefore the world has adopted Bitcoin.
