Imagine if the Fire Department and Medical Responders stated that they will no longer respond to Drug Overdose calls. This isn’t far fetched. Did you know that if caller reports a person passed out in a vehicle they don’t respond unless law enforcement goes first and states they are needed. I ponder what people would do if they knew that no one will save them if they overdose?
Remember, the TV News doesn’t talk about this stuff until we do. The City Council didn’t talk about all the drug overdoses and TV News didn’t either until we constantly posted about them. How would anyone know the crazy amount of overdoses? We are not saying this is the solution, only saying to ponder if it was.

Sounds like he’s tired of being the sole news source in this perfectly fucked former “city”. On every issue that matters, SpokaneNews tells us what’s happening. The alleged TV and radio “local” “news” NEVER tells us what’s happening, only copypastes DNC talking points.
Narcan is extremely recent. Through most of history drug overdoses were self-controlling. Perfect negative feedback. One and done. When you know the first overdose will be the last, you’re much less likely to head into the first.
Through the last century, the official answer to drugs was jail, not more drugs.
Jail works best when it’s followed by job experience and training. The job by itself isn’t enough. Confinement in a controlled environment is necessary FIRST to break away from the drugs AND the drug culture.
