The Bush World Order is done.

Since 1974 Saudi has been the guiding star of our world policy and our oil-based world economy. Our wars against Iraq and Persia and Syria and Libya were fought on behalf of Saudi.

Saudi just left the venue.

Saudi has been sliding toward the sane side for a few years, making more deals with Russia for nuclear reactors and deals with China for construction. Now Saudi has exited the treaty that forms the basis of the Petrodollar.

It will be interesting to watch the reverberations of this earthquake.

How do I know it’s big? 24 hours later our media isn’t mentioning it. Google finds quite a few news articles, but ALL of them are from the sane part of the world. Nothing from our media, not even Reuters which normally catches obscure geopolitical stuff.

Borodin effect! Back when the Soviet Union was in the same kind of geriatric decline that we’re in now, Radio Moscow shifted to nothing but heavy Russian classical music when the power structure was in an upheaval.

One commentator calls this “fake news” because it’s only an official stamp on a change that was already underway. Fine, but that doesn’t make it “fake”. The 1776 Declaration of Independence followed this pattern. The revolution had already started, so a decent respect for world opinion impelled the organizers to state their purpose formally.
