Playing the “democracy” game for the sake of argument, assuming that my “vote” would make a difference.
I judge rulers by what happens when they’re in charge, not by what they say.
What happened when Trump was in charge? He imprisoned and waterboarded the entire nation, and the central bank poured 20 trillion dollars into the pockets of Bezos and Buffett and Fink.
What happened when Biden was in charge?
His administration didn’t solve any problems, but they did passively allow the waterboarding to stop. When TSA halted its ballgag mandate in April 2022, the administration didn’t force them to start again. So far they haven’t shown any signs of resuming the imprisonment and torture.
Jerome Powell started SOLVING the economic problem in late 2021 by revoking ZIRP and QE. Since then, corporations and governments have pulled back hundreds of crazy anti-production and anti-civilization schemes that depended on free money because they destroyed real business and profit. At the same time, the stock crime enforcers at SEC and FTC are getting serious about constraining both Wall Street and the Tech Tyrants.
Trump has promised to fire Powell, and I’m sure he will keep this promise. Trump is NYC born and bred, always working for Wall Street.
If votes mattered, I would vote for the Democrat this time… but ONLY if it’s not Newsom. Newsom is even crazier than Trump, which is an EXTREMELY HIGH BAR. He works directly for Apple and Google, and PASSIONATELY LOVES imprisonment and torture. He’s supercrazy and supersmart and energetic and ambitious, a world-ending combination of talents.
