Nice to see another codger echoing my feelings about sloped roofs.

These clowns let the secret service agent get by with all sorts of nonsense. He said the roof of the sniper’s building was “sloped”, which requires “rappelling skills”. None of the agents were trained for rappelling, so nobody could possibly manage the steep roof.
SLOPED? Jesus again. I’m old and unsteady, and I’d have no trouble walking on that roof. A young and fit agent wouldn’t even notice the 5 degree slant.

It’s also nice to see somebody being HELD ACCOUNTABLE for the first time in centuries. And doubly nice to see the most partisan idiot in Congress breaking ranks to join the hammering of Cheatle. AOC, who would love to see all Deplorables slaughtered, nevertheless joined the predictable Repooflicans in the real “grilling”. Soon after that, Cheatle actually resigned. Nobody on either team stuck up for her.
Seems like a lot of “unbreakable” laws of politics are breaking this year. Not clear where it will go, but it’s damn refreshing after 50 years of absolute paralysis.
