Cooper and Clifton, Four Robeys and Dare and Yates will be the first vaude troupe going into Soviet Russia. The first two acts sail next month and will be joined in Europe by Dare and Yates. Alexander Basy, head of the Amsov Agency here, says he is negotiating with several Euro artists to pick up their acts for USSR tours and also for the Euro agents to lay out some Continental dates for American acts booked into Russia. Tom Mix, now on the Coast, is coming east next week for a talk. Jack Hoxie, Western star, has also submitted his act for Russia.

From 1920 to 1945 we were NOT making war against Russia. We had real commerce and real cultural and scientific exchange, profitable to both sides. Before and after that brief period of sanity, we always make war against Russia, with a huge loss in money and lives and entertainment on BOTH sides.
We hate Russia because Russia is the country we hate. We need to destroy Russia because Russia must be destroyed. It’s perfectly logical.
