Many Republicans have focused on Harris’ record as a prosecutor, which Ramaswamy warned could backfire if they focus too much on attacks that she “locked up” too many people for petty crimes.
Ramaswamy continued, “In fact, one of the images that Kamala Harris is trying to project is that she’s somehow going to be a law-and-order presidential candidate. I find that laughable. Look at under the Democratic regime, including policies that she has supported, clear the jails, defund the police. That’s resulted in a wave of rampant crime in this country. People in the United States of America, across the aisle and both camps, are dead set against this wave of crime. But if against that backdrop, Republicans are criticizing her for locking too many people up, it doesn’t make sense because it legitimizes the otherwise laughable claim that she’s a law-and-order candidate.”

On the dot with the first point. Harris’s ACTUAL RECORD is good on cops and hard on crime. She’s giving me a reason to PREFER one party over the other for the first time, and I suspect other cynics are feeling the same way. When I tried to point this out in a comment on Substack, I was attacked by the “mindless reactors”.
Vivek blows it on the second point. Harris’s claim is verifiable, not laughable.
Vivek blames D for the surge in crime. This has been going on for at least 10 years, driven by Soros-owned LOCAL prosecutors and Bloomberg-owned LOCAL mayors. Many of those destroyers were Repooflicans, like Condon and Nadine here in Spokane.
Trump did NOTHING about the problem, allowing the riots in summer 2020 to run unimpeded. He didn’t try to push back on the Sorosian prosecutors. He’s a Wall Streeter by birth and a GANGSTER by training. HE HATES COPS AND LOVES CRIME. Crime enriches the rich and kills the poor, which is the sole goal of both Wall Streeters and gangsters.
I judge rulers by what HAPPENS when they’re in charge, not by what they say or propose. When Harris was in charge before, she worked against crime. When Trump was in charge before, he aided crime. Above all he committed the “virus” holocaust, enriching the rich and killing the poor on an absolutely unprecedented scale.
Returning to Vivek’s good point… The automatic bots on both sides are only harming their own side. Every “mindless reaction” drives nonpartisans AWAY from the reactor. It doesn’t ATTRACT nonpartisans. If this is how my side behaves, I don’t want any connection with these idiots.
The same thing happened several years ago when I was taking part in some online Catholic forums. They had a chance to persuade me. Instead they slapped me down hard for asking a serious and innocent question about terminology. (What does “The Human Person” mean?) Done with them forever.
