Protos gets cute in an article about bitcoin billionaire Justin Sun. Apparently Sun published a picture of his birthday celebration. In the picture he has seven fingers, and the cake is decorated with RAPPY SLBTHDAY. Both of those are classic AI signatures, so everyone assumed it was AI.
Later he denied the AI accusation, saying that he actually has seven fingers and the cake was misspelled as a joke. Protos carries on in a classic deadpan fashion, explaining that Sun is a shapeshifter who exists in another dimension. Therefore the charges and convictions of fraud against him are only AI-generated and real and AI and real and AI and real at the same time, in Schrodinger style.
Sun has modernized a technique perfected by Rush in the ’90s. Rush maintained that everything he said was parody except when it wasn’t. When he said something that displeased his RNC handlers, he heard from them and quietly reversed his truth in the next hour or next day. If some hapless listener questioned the reversal, Rush jumped down his throat and reminded him that everything is parody.
