Vietnam protesters DIDN’T flip. Most protesters lost interest and turned to other aspects of life. None of the protesters fell in love with LBJ or Nixon. Even after moving on to other things, we retained our hatred of the war and the rulers who caused it.

** Admittedly those two subjects are not a matched pair. 80% of the world is fanatical about football/soccer. Exactly one person is fanatical about rank-choice voting.
