Yesterday was the state primary “election”. I “voted” for Semi Bird, who was a serious man about ALL the right things. He had worked against Trump’s strangulation mandates when he was on a school board and got kicked out, which motivated him to try for governor.
As guaranteed, he lost. Now the “choices” are Bob Ferguson and Dave Reichert. Evil vs coward. Evil will “win” as always.
All “elections” are rigged. I know it, but sometimes I throw in some money and “votes” to encourage and honor the rare decent candidate. More of a reward than a “vote”. Pay for value.
Also: Harris has chosen Walz as her VP, so I can no longer pretend to “prefer” either side. Walz wasn’t quite as creatively evil as Newsom or Trump. Nevertheless he ferociously enforced Trump’s imprisonment and strangulation. Harris herself undoubtedly loved what Trump did, but she wasn’t an active participant. Nuremberg rules.
