Democracy exists, but only…

I often say that “democracy” is a meaningless word. It doesn’t exist and can’t exist.

Trying for more precision… If the word means that decisions are formed by negative feedback, sensing the will of many people, then democracy does happen in some situations, but not governments.

Competitive businesses MUST satisfy a large enough number of customers AND workers if they want profit. Modern big business is not competitive and not based on profit, so it only has to satisfy government or Larry Fink.

Decisions are formed by negative feedback in many internal job situations, especially when the workers are organized in unions. The boss MUST satisfy the workers if he wants to continue operating. Without unions, negative feedback can occur in groups deciding how to design a product or set up the workflow.

Democracy STOPS when government sets up systems of “democracy”. All elections are designed to distract and deceive and dissipate opposition. Manweller’s rule is absolute. Elections only count when they verify the will of the ruler. Perfect example today in France where Macron simply deleted an election that disagreed with his needs.

The only exception to this rule is juries, where all 12 people (or sometimes only a majority) must voluntarily approve a decision.
