Truth is lazy

Watching the endless parade of fancy nicknames and fancy memes churned out by the partisans. I remember playing this game in 2004 when I was stuck in the R cult.

Making up a new fancy nickname or a new cartoon for Horrible Other Party takes work, but if it’s good enough it will Impress Your Friends, who will copy it or repost it.

Since I dropped out of the cult, I don’t need to do as much work. I can observe the political circus LAZILY. When Our Wonderful Candidate does something awful, or Other Horrible Candidate makes a great point, I don’t need to spend a lot of work trying to explain and excuse Our Wonderful, and I don’t have to make up any new funny names or cartoons to mock the great point and turn it into shit. Both of those activities take a lot of energy.

This way is LAZY. I know that I lost all my “friends” and clickers when I stopped doing the funny and nasty work to impress them. Now I don’t need to impress anyone because nobody except reality is listening.

Fortunately, if polls are right, normal non-online people are lazy. They’re reaching conclusions about candidates based on their own perception of reality, not on the distorted memes.
